Women facing challenges February 8, 2012
Debbie Johnson , The CasketThe best part about belonging to a grandmother group is that we can make it anything we want – we don’t even have to be grandmothers! There is no formula for creating a group – we are just women who love spending time with each other and are passionate about social justice and making a difference in the lives of our sisters – African grandmothers. Our group loves sewing, so we create tote bags together and sell them to raise money – but really – the possibilities for the activities of a grandmother’s group are as infinite as our imagination! – Canadian Grandmother
