Feature Stories from Africa

The Stephen Lewis Foundation exists to meaningfully collaborate on the important work of those on the frontlines of the AIDS pandemic in sub-Saharan Africa, and to support the processes by which grassroots groups share ideas, strategize for change, and build unified networks across the African continent. We bring their stories and their challenges to the attention of Canadians in a variety of fomats: in our bi-annual Grassroots newsletter, in video clips and interviews, in blog entries and in photographs. Here is a collection of some of those stories.

• Ending Sexual Violence in the DRC
  • In November 2008, the Foundation hosted an evening called Ending Sexual Violence in the DRC at the University of Toronto's Convocation Hall.
